The digital platform
Making local resources visible and usable.
A future digital service could give Mid Wales a shared view of materials, assets, skills and opportunities — designed around the realities of a rural region.
The platform shown is a concept. No public directory, booking system or exchange is currently operating.

Proposed capabilities
Useful tools, joined up.
The service would be developed incrementally with users. Features would only progress where research shows a clear local need.
Designed to complement
Supporting existing organisations.
The platform aims to make existing community resources easier to discover and access. It would not seek to replace community groups, established businesses, council systems or the relationships people already rely on.
Interoperability, accessible non-digital routes and careful data governance will form part of the discovery process. Privacy-conscious analytics would be used only to understand service performance, with clear choices and minimal data collection.
